Caring for your Myni Piece

Every Myni creation is hand-crafted with care using the finest Gold and Silver to ensure it remains a timeless part of your story. To preserve the lustre and integrity of your bespoke jewellery, we recommend following these professional care guidelines.

Everyday Preservation

1/ LAST ON, FIRST OFF

Apply perfumes, lotions, and hairsprays before putting on your jewellery to protect the metal and stones from chemical residue.

2/ REMOVE BEFORE ACTIVITY

We recommend removing your rings and bracelets before swimming in chlorinated pools, exercising, or performing heavy household tasks to avoid scratches or impact.

3/ SAFE STORAGE

When not being worn, store your piece in its original packaging or a soft-lined jewellery box to prevent Gold and Silver from tangling or scratching against other items.

Cleaning Your Jewellery

1/ GOLD PIECES

Soak your Gold jewellery in a bowl of warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap. Use a very soft toothbrush to gently clean around the settings, then rinse and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.

2/ SILVER PIECES

Silver can naturally tarnish over time when exposed to air. Use a specialised silver polishing cloth to restore its bright, white finish. Avoid using abrasive tissue or paper towels, which can cause micro-scratches.

3/ GEMSTONE CARE

While stones like Diamonds and Sapphires are durable, others like Emeralds or Opals are more delicate. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners unless you have confirmed with us that your specific stone is suitable.

Professional Maintenance

1/ ANNUAL CHECK-UPS

We recommend a professional inspection once a year to ensure that stone settings remain secure and the metal hasn't been compromised by daily wear.

2/ EXPERT POLISHING

Over years of wear, Gold and Silver will develop a natural patina. We can provide professional polishing services to bring back the original high-shine finish of your bespoke design.
